Among Byrd’s collaborative curatorial projects are Losing
Yourself in the 21st Century (2009-2010), a traveling exhibition
exploring performance video work by young women artists; Le Flash Atlanta, a new genre public art performance event (2008,
2009); Reconstructing Atlanta
(2008), a multi-venue series of exhibitions and events centered on contemporary
urban issues; and Potentially Harmful:
The Art of American Censorship (2006), an exhibition and programs examining
thirty years of highly provocative contemporary art.
