Fresh Art International presents conversations about creativity in the 21st century. Launched in 2011, the podcast archives more than 300 stories from the center and fringe of art, design, and film scenes across six continents. Host Cathy Byrd is a contemporary art writer and curator respected as one of the world’s first women podcasters. She roams the planet to capture underrepresented oral histories, recording soundscapes and voices on the street, in classrooms, galleries, theaters, and museums. Listeners who follow her nomad studio are as likely to find themselves in a city as in a swamp, landfill or desert, on a mountain path or beach. Stay tuned for more voices from the field.
